The Child Advocacy Center Endowment

In 2010, the Child Advocacy Center established an endowment fund, which is managed by the Cumberland Community Foundation. The Child Advocacy Center Endowment serves as a permanent source of income for the center to fund its services to child victims of abuse. This fund may receive gifts of cash, marketable securities, closely held stock, real estate, insurance, and many other assets. Bequests, Charitable Remainder Trusts, and other deferred gift vehicles also may be used to add to the fund.

Questions about the CAC Endowment Fund may be directed to Mary Holmes at or 910-483-4449. Checks may be made payable to the Child Advocacy Center Endowment and mailed to the Cumberland Community Foundation, P.O. Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302. Donations may also be made at

CAC Named Gift Opportunities

The Child Advocacy Center offers named room opportunities to those who wish to honor or remember a family member, friend, business or corporation with an extraordinary and special gift.  A plaque will identify the name of the honoree, providing enduring recognition.  Available rooms range from $5000 to $20,000.  Named rooms may be paid in full or pledged over a three-year period.  Please contact the CAC at (910) 486-9700 or for more information.

Speakers’ Bureau

As you plan your year of speakers for civic, faith and community organizations, don’t forget the CAC has a group of volunteers who are eager to speak on the problem of child abuse and what individuals can do to prevent and stop it. Please call the center at 486-9700 to schedule a speaker.
