(Fayetteville, NC) – The Child Advocacy Center of Fayetteville invites girls and their friends and families to experience the American Girl Fashion Show® on Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25, 2012, at the Crown Center Ballroom in Fayetteville. This fun, engaging program showcases historical and contemporary fashions for girls and their dolls. This is the fifth year that the Child Advocacy Center has hosted the event in Fayetteville.
More than 100 local and regional girl models will present the fashions, while lively commentary, music and decorations will create a memorable experience for girls and their families. Audiences will delight in historical clothing that resembles what the popular American Girl® characters might have worn. Contemporary “Just like You” outfits for older girls and sweet Bitty Baby fashions for little ones complete the program.
The event includes elegant refreshments, party favors, raffles and door prizes. Ticket prices are $35, with a limited number of $60 VIP seats available. Facility fees and/or Ticket Master fees will also apply.
The Child Advocacy Center provides a safe, child-friendly place where community agencies come together to investigate cases of child abuse and to provide support for abused children. The Child Advocacy Center also provides education to the community on preventing, detecting and reporting child abuse to parents, businesses, organizations and professionals.
